Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 15+ years in power generation to join our offices in a hybrid role. You will lead mechanical design from concept to detail, coordinate with other disciplines, and mentor junior staff on diverse energy infrastructure projects, including new plants and retrofits.

The ideal candidate has PE or ability to obtain it within a year, strong background in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics, and experience with piping, mass/energy balances,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of power generation design experience.
• PE license or able to obtain within 1 year.
• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Experience with plant design, retrofits, and energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison with clients and coordinate mechanical design across disciplines.
• Prepare engineering and cost estimates from data analysis.
• Perform design calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment sizing.
• Lead and mentor 2D/3D designers and junior engineers.
