Stanley Consultants, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with power generation expertise to lead design efforts across a range of projects, from new plant designs to retrofits. The role includes mentoring junior staff and coordinating with structural, electrical, civil, and I&C teams.

You will perform calculations, prepare specifications and drawings, and guide engineering decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 15+ years of relevant power generation design experience
• PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year
• Natural gas power generation experience

Responsabilidades

• Serves as a technical liaison with clients on projects and coordinates mechanical design with other disciplines
• Prepare and check design computations for system design, equipment and pipe sizing
• Lead and mentor 2D/3D designers and junior engineers to develop designs and drawings
• Work with design and equipment sizing software to prepare engineering documents
• Perform field/site visits for data collection and observations as needed
• Consult with construction personnel on design constructability and sequencing
