Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 8–15 years of facility design experience to join our team. You will lead mechanical design development for building projects, including HVAC and energy infrastructure, and mentor junior staff across diverse projects and locations.

The role requires PE or ability to obtain within a year, experience with state/federal building design, and BIM/energy modeling knowledge. This hybrid role offers growth and visibility across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited four-year college.
• 8+ years of relevant facility design experience.
• Possess PE, or able to obtain PE within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinate within the discipline (mechanical) and with other disciplines.
• Lead preparation of engineering and cost estimating reports through data analysis.
• Prepare and check design computations for system design, equipment sizing, and service conditions.
• Mentor 2D/3D designers and junior engineers to develop designs and drawings.
• Use design and equipment sizing software to prepare documents and assist with field observations.
