Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead power generation, plant facilities design, and microgrid projects across client sites. You will design electrical systems and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe solutions.

With a PE license and 10+ years in electrical design, you will mentor junior engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure code compliance while delivering innovative energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project and industry needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of power plant site, microgrids, and distribution systems with medium/low voltage.
• Prepare schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Report preparation, code compliance, and design calculations.
• Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas.
• Manage design budget and schedule.
• Develop engineering drawings and perform calculations.
• Size and select electrical equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Conduct project field site visits.
