Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking a mechanical engineer to design and optimize facility piping systems, size mechanical components, and prepare and update drawings and specifications.

You will perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal and stress analyses, support safety reviews, procurement, factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of hands-on piping, fluid systems or process equipment experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize facility piping systems and size mechanical components.
• Prepare and update drawings and specifications for projects.
• Perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal and stress analyses.
• Support safety reviews, procurement, factory acceptance testing, and field inspections.
• Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting under senior staff guidance.
