Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize facility piping systems, size equipment, and prepare technical drawings.

You will perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress analyses, supporting safety reviews, procurement evaluations, and field activities under senior staff guidance. Requirements include a BS in mechanical engineering and at least two years of piping or fluid systems experience, with the ability to obtain a Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field with hands-on piping experience.
• At least two years of experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize facility piping systems and size mechanical equipment.
• Prepare and update technical drawings and specifications; perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal and stress analyses; support reviews, testing, field inspections, and commissioning.
