Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize facility piping systems, size components, and prepare technical drawings and specifications. You will perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress analyses to support projects.

You will also assist with safety/quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior staff guidance. Local candidates with related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in industrial piping, fluid systems, or process equipment.
• Experience with equipment sizing, pressure-drop calculations, pipe-stress concepts; drafting/analysis software and ability to obtain a Q security clearance preferred.
