Responsibilities include performing hand calculations, using CAD/PLM tools, and contributing to design documentation and verification plans while ensuring compliance with 10CFR and internal quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency with engineering hand calculations is required.
• Experience with CAD/PLM software and hardware development in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical concepts and design SSCs for nuclear products with focus on safety.
• Coordinate requirements, interfaces, and design criteria with stakeholders.
• Perform analyses to verify SSCs meet technical specs and design requirements.
• Create and maintain CAD models of reactor SSCs and supporting documentation.
• Produce design basis documents, technical reports, and drawings.
