RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and document components for tactical missile systems. You will lead mechanical teams and collaborate across disciplines to deliver robust solutions for domestic and international programs.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, CREO CAD skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment. Travel to suppliers and customer sites may be required.

Formación

• Requires STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D CAD software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for tactical missile systems.
• Lead mechanical engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional disciplines.
• Support factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence, and troubleshooting.
• Interface with other engineering and non-technical teams to resolve design challenges.
• Participate in design peer reviews and conduct trade studies to inform decisions.
• Apply FAI and RSI processes with Quality teams.
