Job summary

RTX is seeking Mechanical Engineers for our Tucson, AZ site to support full program life cycle, early development, production support, and legacy sustainment of Air Launched Effectors products. The role emphasizes design, documentation, and collaboration to meet strict requirements.

You will mentor engineers, apply GD&T and tolerance analysis, and work with CREO and Windchill in a fast-paced environment. Domestic/international travel may be required; on-site work in Tucson is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience in CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for missile systems.
• Lead mechanical engineering teams and collaborate across disciplines.
• Support factory and suppliers with product development and obsolescence.
