RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for onsite work in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on mechanical design, development, and documentation of missile components, with responsibility to support suppliers and perform design reviews.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency in CREO (Pro/E). A security clearance is required for eligibility and the role is strictly on-site.

Formación

• Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience in mechanical design and design documentation.
• GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
• Experience with CREO or similar 3D solid modeling software.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for tactical missile systems and equipment.
• Support factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence, troubleshooting, domestically and internationally.
• Interface with engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop design solutions.
• Work with limited supervision and meet commitments for schedule, cost, and technical goals.
• Support design peer reviews, resolve action items, and conduct trade studies.
• Support technical data package updates and variances.
• Work with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Raytheon Source Inspection (RSI).
• Utilize Raytheon hardware tools and processes.
