Job summary

CRB in Missouri is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to design HVAC and mechanical utility systems for complex facilities, from concept through construction. You will own project scope and mentor junior team members, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary group to deliver coordinated solutions.

Responsibilities include leading the mechanical scope on projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met, and applying ASHRAE/NFPA rules, with emphasis on constructibility and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical system design in AEC environments.
• PE license and experience designing HVAC/mechanical systems for commercial/industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and mechanical utility systems for new construction, renovations, and process-driven environments.
• Lead the mechanical scope for small to mid-sized projects or major portions of larger projects; manage deadlines, deliverables, and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver coordinated designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; lead quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement.
