Job summary

CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC and mechanical utilities for new buildings and renovations, coordinating with architects and engineers on projects of intermediate complexity. You will oversee the mechanical discipline scope, budget, and guide less-experienced engineers on multiple projects.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited ME or Architectural Engineering degree, has at least 5 years of experience, and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (mechanical focus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in AEC firm environments.
• Professional Engineer registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Designs mechanical systems of intermediate complexity in code conformance and in coordination with other disciplines.
• Manages multiple complex tasks and directs the work of others.
• Collaborates with architects, engineers and designers to ensure a coordinated design.
• Develops construction drawings, reports and specifications for projects of intermediate complexity.
