CRB in Massachusetts seeks a Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee HVAC and mechanical utilities design for complex facilities. You will guide project teams, coordinate with clients and trade partners, and ensure technical excellence across all design phases.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration in good standing.
15+ years of experience for Senior Lead position.
Expert experience with engineering calculations and HVAC/mechanical utility and piping system design.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong coding/standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

Directs and manages the workflows and execution of design and engineering staff to meet client expectations and project goals.
Coordinates with internal and external parties, manages tasks, and directs the work of others.
Leads proposal development, task identification, and scheduling for the discipline scope of work.
Performs advanced analyses and ensures overall project quality and design integrity.
Mentors less experienced mechanical engineers and designers.
Leads coordination with construction teams and provides technical leadership across offices.
