Job summary

CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to lead the design and engineering of HVAC and mechanical utilities for buildings. The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, clients, and construction teams across all project phases, from studies through construction administration.

You will oversee the Mechanical discipline, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff while delivering high‑quality designs for complex life sciences and food & beverage facilities.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years of experience
• Professional Engineer license in good standing
• Experience with HVAC, mechanical utilities and piping systems design
• Experience applying mechanical/plumbing/building codes

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design across multiple project phases and sizes
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients and construction teams
• Develop construction documents, specifications and schedules
• Provide field support and senior level design reviews
• Mentor and guide junior mechanical staff
