Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, 15+ years of experience, and a track record in designing building systems for justice facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, PE preferred.
• Experience with design of building systems in Justice + Civic facilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects and staff across regions, ensuring design intent and criteria are met.
• Assure design quality through reviews and milestones.
• Manage project execution regarding budget, schedule, and scope.
• Track milestones, prepare status reports, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings with staff, clients, vendors, and consultants.
• Contribute to business development, RFP responses, and client interviews.
• Lead design on major projects and collaborate with architects and engineers.
• Perform technical reviews across disciplines prior to issuance.
• Represent DLR Group in meetings with owners and clients.
