Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Senior Engineer I to lead piping design and analytics across projects from inception through construction. You will act as discipline lead, coordinating engineers, designers and staff while guiding scope, schedule and budgets.

The role requires strong knowledge of piping systems, equipment packages, and industry codes, with experience in CAESAR II, AutoPipe and AutoCAD. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; MS degree preferred; PE license preferred.
• 6+ years related engineering experience with industrial equipment and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project discipline and manage internal and external resources.
• Prepare and manage scope, budget, and schedule for projects.
• Coordinate tasks with engineers, designers, and staff.
• Check constructability, safety, and overall quality assurance.
• Present project aspects at meetings with clients and team.
