Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (mechanical focus).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam completed.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems (airside, chilled water, condenser water, heating hot water, steam, natural gas, compressed air, etc.) to code requirements and in coordination with other disciplines.
• Perform load calculations, pressure drop calculations and other engineering calculations to meet project requirements.
• Size mechanical equipment, ductwork and piping and develop system schematics; prepare drawings, P&IDs, schedules, and specs.
• Provide mentorship to Mechanical Designer I and support senior engineers on projects.
• Coordinate with clients and external partners; support construction activities and respond to RFIs.
