Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mechanical Designer to contribute to the Buildings Government Service team. You will support the design of engineered building systems under the guidance of a Senior Engineer, performing Revit tasks and coordinating with multiple disciplines.

The role focuses on sustainable, integrated building solutions with opportunities for growth in healthcare, commercial, and educational facilities. A Bachelor's in Engineering is required and field exposure is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD as drafting tools.
• Ability to collaborate in a project team and communicate ideas clearly.
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection for buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform Revit design for mechanical discipline under guidance.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers on projects.
• Conduct basic calculations for building mechanical components.
• Support senior engineers with data collection and design decisions.
• Assist with various project duties as directed.
