Job summary

CMTA Energy Solutions, part of Legence, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead performance contracting projects from conception through completion across multiple markets.

You will guide the engineering design team, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development while applying HVAC design and commissioning expertise.

This on-site role offers growth in a collaborative, data-driven environment with opportunities to expand CMTA’s reach in new markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Energy Services or consulting/commissioning.
• Undergrad degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of performance contracts from conception to completion.
• Identify opportunities and nurture client relationships for CMTA’s growth.
• Direct the engineering design team in drawings and specs.
• Oversee bidding to ensure quality and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with client to finalize performance contracts and with the construction manager during build.
• Lead commissioning to validate performance and support warranty phase.
