Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Energy Solutions team in Media, PA. This leadership role combines technical expertise with client engagement, business development, and project delivery to advance energy performance contracting projects.

You will lead all phases of energy performance contracting, liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes, system design, and commissioning, while expanding CMTA's market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with energy services, consulting engineering, commissioning, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building systems and energy conservation strategies.
• Demonstrated experience leading client-facing engineering projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of energy performance contracting projects from development through commissioning.
• Serve as primary client contact and educate clients on energy performance contracting benefits.
• Oversee energy calculations, engineering evaluations, and project development activities.
• Direct engineering teams in drawings, specifications, and design deliverables.
• Lead bidding and procurement efforts to ensure quality and competitive outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients to finalize project scope and performance contracts.
