Job summary

CMTA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead performance contracting efforts within the Energy Solutions division.

You will direct project phases from site visits and energy calculations through commissioning and warranty support, while growing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in energy services or commissioning, with an engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Experience leading performance contracting projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of performance contracts from conception to completion.
• Identify opportunities and nurture client relationships to grow CMTA’s Energy Solutions business.
• Direct the engineering design team and oversee drawings, specifications, and energy calculations.
• Manage bidding processes to ensure quality and competitive outcomes.
• Coordinate with clients and construction teams through commissioning and warranty periods.
• Collaborate with M&V professionals on first-year performance verification.
