Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead performance contracting within our Energy Solutions group. You will oversee projects from conception to completion and act as the primary client contact, ensuring value delivery and technical excellence.

Applicants should have 5+ years in energy services or commissioning, and an ABET‑accredited engineering degree. Proficiency in HVAC design, energy calculations, and leading cross‑functional teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Undergrad degree in engineering from ABET accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and explain performance contracting to potential clients and identify opportunities.
• Direct the engineering design team and oversee bidding, site visits, audits and energy calculations.
• Build and maintain client relationships to foster repeat business and proposals.
• Collaborate with construction, M&V, and client teams to finalize contracts and ensure performance.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in developing drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Ensure alignment with state K‑12 design‑build procurement requirements.
