Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our client, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm. The role focuses on leading mechanical design on large projects, with responsibility for central plant and campus energy work, in a hybrid setup across Greater Boston and nearby regions.

You will design HVAC systems, lead energy modeling efforts, and guide cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects from feasibility to construction, while coordinating with architects,

Formación

• BS in mechanical engineering.
• 7+ years designing HVAC systems for institutional/commercial buildings.
• Experience leading project teams and design on central plant/hydronic systems.
• Proficiency with whole-building energy modeling tools (IES VE, TRACE, HAP) is required.
• PE license preferred and strong client-facing communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design from feasibility through construction documents and admin.
• Design heating/cooling plants and distribution systems (hot water, steam, chilled water, heat pumps).
• Design air-side systems including energy recovery and humidity-controlled spaces.
• Build and check energy models and perform life-cycle cost comparisons.
• Write control sequences and set building automation strategy.
• Lead decarbonization studies and coordinate with architects and contractors.
