Job summary

RTX's McKinney, TX site seeks an established Mechanical Engineer to design and document electro-mechanical assemblies for our manufacturing facility. You will coordinate with suppliers nationwide and collaborate with program leadership to meet production goals.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering with 5+ years of experience, CAD tool proficiency (CREO), and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. This is an on-site position with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Mechanical/Aerospace or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience supporting production of electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with PTC CREO Parametric or other mechanical CAD tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to meet production goals with program and functional leadership.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary engineer team covering production, aerostructure, housing, electronics packaging, and thermal management.
• Collaborate with IPTL, PM, Supply Chain, and external personnel.
• Support travel to external suppliers and Raytheon facilities (up to 20%).
• Apply GD&T principles to design documentation and fabrication.
