Zusammenfassung

RTX seeks a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for its Tucson, AZ site to lead mechanical design, DFMA/DFP, and production support across Air Launched Effectors. The role requires hands-on responsibility for major subsystems, coordinating with factories and suppliers to meet requirements and schedules.

You will perform tolerance analyses, drive manufacturability improvements, and apply GD&T principles while traveling to government and supplier facilities as needed. On-site presence is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years' experience.
• Experience in ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Experience in CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.

Aufgaben

• Owns technical tasks and acts as a prime contact for complex design problems in mechanical subsystems.
• Collaborates with cross-disciplinary teams and suppliers to analyze, model, and document TDPs.
• Mentors junior engineers and leads small teams across multiple functions.
