The ideal candidate brings a degree in mechanical engineering and a track record of taking products through production release, with strong 3D CAD and GD&T skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD, drawings, GD&T, and EC processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements and application conditions into product specifications and detailed design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, production drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design risk assessments.
• Design components and assemblies with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability considerations.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate test results, and refine designs to meet performance requirements.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of production or field performance concerns.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and improve reusable design practices.
