Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering change control.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, interfaces, and verification.
• Ability to manage technical work independently and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, risk assessments.
• Design components considering temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate results, refine designs.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve issues with multiple teams.
• Support new product introduction, engineering changes, and field issues.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and improve practices.
