The candidate will drive CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, and design verification while supporting new product introduction, engineering changes, and field troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis.
• Understanding materials, manufacturing methods, and design verification.
• Ability to independently manage technical work and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into product specs and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and docs.
• Perform calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, risk assessments.
• Design components considering temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, manufacturability.
• Develop prototype and validation plans; analyze test results; refine designs.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews; resolve issues with teams and suppliers.
• Support NPI, ECs, and troubleshooting in production or field.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and improve design practices.
