Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer for a client manufacturing temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable assemblies in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on mechanical design from concept through production release, blending hands-on design, analysis, prototyping, and collaboration with customers and manufacturing teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive experience designing mechanical products or precision assemblies through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, detailed drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering change control.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, interfaces, and design verification.
• Ability to independently manage technical work and collaborate across functions.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer requirements into product specifications and detailed designs.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototype and validation plans, evaluate results, refine designs to meet performance.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve issues with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, and troubleshoot production or field performance concerns.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and improve reusable design practices.
