Zaddy Solutions in the United States is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to design and develop precision mechanical products and custom assemblies from concept through production release. This hands-on role blends detailed mechanical design, analysis, prototyping, and collaboration with customers and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background, strong CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and experience guiding parts from concept to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing mechanical products through production release.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, drawings, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and change control.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturability, interfaces, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into product specifications and design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design docs.
• Perform calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and risk assessments.
• Design components with temperature, pressure, sealing, interfaces, and manufacturability in mind.
• Develop prototype and validation plans; evaluate results to meet performance.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews and resolve issues with teams and suppliers.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, and troubleshooting of field performance.
• Provide technical guidance and improve design practices.
