Blue Origin is seeking an avionics CAD specialist to design, release, and manage CAD data for the Transfer Stage Vehicle in the Lunar Permanence unit. You will generate detail parts and assemblies, create MBEs, and ensure conformance to internal standards across cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes precision, data integrity, and collaboration to deliver world‑class spaceflight hardware components for sustainable lunar transportation systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD & Design or equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace or related industry.
• Proficiency with Creo Parametric and Windchill for model generation and release.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts, create detail parts and assemblies, and release data sets using CAD/PLM tools.
• Apply drafting techniques to plan and maintain engineering data (drawings, MBEs).
• Interface with subsystem teams to place avionics boxes in vehicle models.
• Review drawings to ensure conformance to specs and standards.
• Implement standard engineering methods balancing cost, schedule and performance.
