Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a CAD Design Engineer to support the Lunar Permanence program. You will develop design layouts, create detailed drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across structural, fluids, and avionics domains.

The role emphasizes Creo Parametric and Windchill proficiency, attention to detail, and rigorous adherence to ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards while delivering world-class engineered products for lunar transportation systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD/Design or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in aerospace development or similar industry.
• Proficiency in drawing generation and release using Creo and Windchill.
• Experience with GD&T ASME Y14.5 and standard aerospace hardware selection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/evolve design layouts and create/maintain drawings using CAD and PLM tools.
• Support engineering teams with mechanical layouts and detail designs for structural, mechanical, fluids, and electronics parts.
• Apply company techniques to plan, layout, and maintain engineering drawings and datasets.
• Implement standard methodologies to balance cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
