Job summary

Blue Origin's Lunar Permanence team is seeking an experienced CAD designer to support development of spacecraft systems for lunar transport and infrastructure. You will prepare/evolve design layouts, create and maintain detail part and assembly drawings using Creo and PLM tools, and contribute to robust drawings for structural, fluids, and electronics parts.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in CAD design and have 2+ years in aerospace, with proficiency in Creo Parametric, Windchill,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD design or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in aerospace development or similar industry.
• Proficiency with Creo Parametric and Windchill for drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance analysis.
• Experience selecting aerospace hardware and working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/evolve design layouts and maintain detail part and assembly drawings.
• Support engineering teams with mechanical layout and detail design for various parts and assemblies.
• Apply company techniques to plan and depict engineering designs in drawings and data sets.
• Implement methodologies balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
