Quanta Power Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead the development and coordination of mechanical design deliverables for EPC power generation, renewables, BESS, and industrial infrastructure projects. You will mentor junior designers and ensure construction packages meet standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial mechanical design, piping systems, and equipment layouts, with hands-on experience in DOE constructs and project execution across

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or CAD-related field preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Experience supporting EPC, power generation, renewable energy, transmission, substation, or industrial infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of mechanical design packages for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, transmission, substation, and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Develop and coordinate equipment arrangement drawings, general arrangement plans, piping layouts, isometrics, and plot plans.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs and constructability.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals for incorporation into project deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers.
• Support field verification, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
