Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to lead electrical design deliverables for complex power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data centers, substations, transmission, and industrial projects. The role emphasizes 3D modeling, CAD/BIM coordination, and mentoring junior designers in a fast-paced EPC environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive industrial electrical design experience, strong 3D CAD skills, and the ability to lead design efforts

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of electrical design experience.
Experience in EPC, power generation, industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects required.
Demonstrated experience working on multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

Lead development of electrical design deliverables across large EPC projects.
Prepare, review, and coordinate SLDs, electrical plans and layouts, conduit and cable tray routing, grounding and bonding, lighting and distribution layouts.
Provide 3D modeling and BIM coordination, clash detection, and vendor model integration.
Independently execute electrical design scopes through conceptual design, detailed engineering, and construction phases.
Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, and construction teams.
