Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions, a leader in EPC for power generation, seeks a Mechanical Designer II to develop mechanical layouts, 3D models, and drawings for power and industrial projects. You will independently execute design tasks, coordinate with engineering teams, and deliver detailed deliverables from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in mechanical design/drafting within power generation or EPC, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit) and experience with 3D modeling, BIM

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical design/drafting experience.
• Experience in power generation, EPC, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, HVAC, and mechanical drafting principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise mechanical design deliverables for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data center, and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and update: equipment layouts, piping layouts, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Develop 3D models and coordinate design changes across disciplines.
• Support projects through conceptual design, detailed engineering, and construction phases.
• Maintain CAD standards and perform quality checks on drawings and models.
