Quanta Power Solutions seeks a highly experienced Mechanical Designer IV to lead and execute complex mechanical design efforts across power generation, BESS, data centers, substations, and industrial facilities. You will drive 3D modeling, reconciliation of multidisciplinary deliverables, and constructible packages across EPC phases.

The role emphasizes independent scope management, mentorship of junior designers, and ensuring compliance with project specs, codes, and BIM standards.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of mechanical design experience.
• Extensive experience in EPC, power generation, industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects required.
• Demonstrated experience leading design scopes and coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of complex mechanical design deliverables for large-scale EPC projects.
• Manage 3D models and BIM coordination, including clash detection and vendor model integration.
• Independently manage major design scopes through conceptual design, Detailed Engineering and construction phases.
• Coordinate mechanical design activities with civil, structural, electrical, process, and instrumentation teams.
• Provide field support during construction, startup, and commissioning and update models per field conditions.
• Maintain quality through adherence to drafting standards and project specifications.
