Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead mechanical package development for EPC projects across power generation, renewables, battery storage, transmission, and substations. You will coordinate equipment layouts, piping, isometrics, and installation details, and mentor junior designers.

You will collaborate with mechanical, civil, electrical teams to ensure constructible, code-compliant designs and support field verification and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor-level engineering education with 10+ years in mechanical design for EPC projects.
• Experience leading multi-discipline design teams and delivering constructible designs.
• Ability to manage design deliverables to codes, standards and client specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of mechanical design packages for power generation, renewables, and industrial infrastructure.
• Coordinate equipment layouts, piping systems, isometrics, plot plans and installation details.
• Review vendor drawings and resolve design conflicts with other disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior designers; ensure quality and standards.
