Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to lead electrical design deliverables for large EPC projects across power generation, renewables, substations, and industrial facilities. You will mentor junior designers and coordinate multidisciplinary models to ensure constructible, code-compliant packages.

You will drive 3D modeling, BIM coordination, and design reviews with civil, mechanical, and field teams, while supporting field verification and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Design or related field.
• 5–8 years of electrical design experience in EPC, power, or industrial projects.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary models.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks; BIM coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of electrical design deliverables across large EPC projects.
• Create and review SLDs, electrical plans, layouts, and grounding systems.
• Coordinate 3D models, BIM coordination, and clash detection.
• Support construction, field verification, and commissioning.
