Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technologist 3 to contribute to the W93 program at Los Alamos National Lab. The role requires advanced mechanical CAD design, GD&T, MBD expertise, and experience with Creo 3D CAD and PDMLink PLM.

You will review models, guide design iterations, and mentor junior staff while supporting nuclear security and environmental remediation initiatives. The position is onsite in Los Alamos, NM, with collaboration across DoD/NNSA partners and Sandia

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a checker of design definition for 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Guide teams through design iterations to address potential engineering defects.
• Mentor junior staff on MBD and GD&T principles.
• Conduct tolerance and stack analyses to ensure design conformance.
• Ensure producibility and minimize rejected parts through robust design checks.
