Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) is seeking a Mechanical Designer for an on-site role at LANL in Santa Fe, NM. You will apply Creo 3D CAD, GD&T, MBD, and tolerance analyses while guiding design iterations for a first new weapon system program in over 30 years.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8 years of related experience. US citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Science, or Math with 8 years of related mechanical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with Creo 3D CAD, GD&T, and MBD to develop and verify designs.
• Guide teams through design iterations to address defects and ensure producibility.
• Mentor staff on models-based definition and GD&T, with expert results.
• Contribute to complex, innovative solutions for weapon-system programs.
• Support reviews for design, manufacture, assembly and tests.
