Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) at LANL in New Mexico is seeking a Mechanical Designer responsible for checking design definitions and supporting the first new weapon system program in decades.

You will lead design iterations, mentor staff, and ensure GD&T and MBD compliance while solving complex engineering challenges. The role requires Creo CAD expertise, PLM experience, and the ability to obtain DOE Q clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 8 years of directly related experience.
• In-depth Creo CAD, GD&T, and Model Based Definition experience for weapon-system design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance; US citizenship required.

Mansioni

• Check Creo models and drawings for form, fit, and function using MBD.
• Guide cross-functional teams through design iterations addressing defects.
• Mentor junior staff on models-based definition and GD&T practices.
• Deliver expert results with minimal direction for complex problems.
• Ensure producibility and compliance with NSE, LANL, and industry standards.
