Qualifications

• Requires BS in a STEM field with 8+ years of engineering experience; MS with 6+ years also acceptable.
• Solid background in machine design and drawing generation.
• Ability to plan tasks and meet established schedules.
• Able to work in fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs concept and generate solid models reflecting concepts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders balancing technical, schedule, and cost.
• Conduct trade studies to evaluate design options.
• Oversee engineering drawings using GD&T.
• Identify procurement needs and support fabrication and nonconformance disposition.
• Provide assembly checkout and test support.
• Generate task plans and support proposals.
• Occasional domestic travel.
