Job summary

COMPA Industries is seeking an Engineering Technologist 3 (Mechanical Design Checker) in Los Alamos, NM. You will verify 3D CAD models, drawings, and GD&T for the W93/Mk7 Systems Development program, ensuring producibility and conformance to standards.

The role requires Creo proficiency, PLM experience, and familiarity with MBD, tolerance analysis, and design reviews. This office-based position offers a challenging environment and opportunities to influence critical defense programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Science, Math, or related field with 8 years of directly related experience.
• Experience checking Creo models and drawings for form, fit, function and MBD.
• Proficiency with Creo 3D CAD, PDMLink PLM, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Responsibilities

• Check Creo models and drawings for form, fit, and function, and for compliance with Model-Based Definition (MBD) practice and current design standards.
• Conduct tolerance and stack-up analyses.
• Lead reviews for design, manufacture, assembly, and test.
