Job summary

Banda Group International, Los Alamos, NM, seeks an Engineering Technologist to verify engineering designs and ensure manufacturability. You will review Creo 3D CAD models, evaluate MBD and GD&T, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on a Navy warhead system project.

The role is fully on-site in Los Alamos, NM. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years' related experience, with strong communication skills and knowledge of ASME Y14 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and at least eight years of directly related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical CAD, mechanical design, and engineering principles.
• Experience using Creo 3D CAD and PDMLink PLM.
• Experience with MBD, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards, particularly Y14.5-2009 and Y14.41.
• Experience with fabrication, inspection, assembly, and testing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review Creo 3D CAD models and drawings for form, fit, function, and compliance.
• Evaluate MBD, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Verify product definition for manufacturability, inspection, and testing.
• Identify design defects and develop solutions for complex problems.
• Support configuration management for models, drawings, and specs.
• Lead and participate in design reviews with engineers and scientists.
• Recommend improvements to design standards and MBD processes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Manage multiple assignments to meet project requirements.
