Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates, LLC seeks an Engineering Technologist 3 (Mechanical Design - Creo) to support Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

The role focuses on checking design definitions, Creo models and drawings for form, fit, function and MBD, and developing technical solutions for complex problems with independence. Candidates should have extensive CAD and GD&T experience and be able to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 8 years of related experience.
• Experience with Creo 3D CAD, PLM (PDMLink), GD&T, and MBD.
• Ability to perform tolerance stack analyses and ensure producibility.
• Experience with weapon-system configuration management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Check design definition, including Creo models and drawings, for form, fit, function, and MBD.
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems using ingenuity and independence.
• May guide teams through design iterations to address potential engineering defects.
• May mentor junior staff on the details of model-based definition and GD&T.
