Job summary

COMPA Industries is hiring an Engineering Technologist 3 to check W93/Mk7 design definitions for the LANL W93/Mk7 group. You will review 3D CAD, GD&T, and MBD-driven models to ensure the design is producible, meets requirements, and aligns with project goals.

The role requires strong Creo expertise, knowledge of PLM (PDMLink), and experience supporting weapon-system design workflows within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 8 years of directly related experience.
• Strong Creo 3D CAD experience across design, manufacturing, inspection, assembly and testing.
• Experience checking Creo models for form, fit, function and MBD.
• Proficient with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and ASME Y14 standards.

Responsibilities

• Check Creo models and drawings for form, fit, and function per MBD and current design standards.
• Conduct tolerance and stack-up analyses.
• Ensure product definition is producible and meets requirements.
• Guide teams through design iterations to resolve defects.
• Lead reviews for design, manufacture, assembly and test.
• Recommend MBD best practices and process improvements while adhering to standards.
• Develop and interpret 3D CAD model standards for LANL and NSE.
