Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Multi-Disciplined Engineer in Andover, MA to perform chemical and materials testing supporting development, design, and failure analysis for a broad range of products. This onsite role requires coordinating multiple tasks within schedule and collaborating with design and materials engineers, SMEs, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Typically requires University Degree or Advanced Degree with relevant experience.
Experience in thermal analysis and analytical instrumentation is required.
Ability to conduct material testing and report findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Evaluate materials for conformance to specifications and performance.
Develop or validate materials and processes for products.
Provide resolutions to technical, operational, and supplier issues related to materials.
Conduct hands-on material testing using diverse lab techniques.
Follow protocols and design/test custom test setups as needed.
