The Materials and Process Engineering Department, which functions within the Hardware Team, is looking for a chemical/materials engineer to join our team in Andover, MA. This position will offer a qualified candidate the opportunity to perform chemical testing on various materials (adhesives, polymers, tapes, composites, metals, and various other production materials) to support development, design, and failure analysis activities associated with a wide range of product applications. Tasks will require critical thinking to solve challenging problems and careful attention to detail on procedures, testing of materials, and documentation of results. The primary responsibilities require assessing materials based on conformance to specifications or conducting root cause failure analysis leveraging knowledge of instrumental analysis. Collaboration with design & material engineers, subject matter experts, and suppliers is required. Candidate must be able to manage and coordinate a wide variety of simultaneous tasks within set schedule requirements. This candidate will become part of a multi-disciplined team.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
